7:00 pm
American Legion Auxiliary Unit 598
A Full House was on hand for the band.
Also, on hand, was a dozen, or so, PTSD Veteran guitar and ukulele students, that jumped in with the band throughout the night.
The band finished with a 15-minute tribute to all branches of the service and a God Bless America sing-along.
Commander, Gavin Long, presented the band and their student program a check for $1400 from the members from Post 598.
It was a very inspiring night for the students and their families, the band, and all of us in attendance.
It was truly one of those nights, with everyone on their feet, that makes you proud to be an American.
The Meatball Kitchen menu and snack bar table turned out to be a nice & easy setup.
Rick Sano’s garlic spaghetti house salad was, again, a big hit.
We served 50+ guests.
Dinner and the 50/50 brought in $340.
A special thanks to volunteers for 33 hours.
